TRIED, TESTED AND TRUE
The Dewalt TSTAK storage system is a versatile, stackable tool storage system for the home handyman or professional alike. I use it to organize and carry my most commonly used tools and material, like drill and driver bits, fasteners, adhesives, small hand tools, and even larger tools when I want to transport them to a job site.

The primary competition for this product is Milwaukee's Packout system. It is a comparable system of stacking storage units with some unique option for organizing smaller tools and hardware, however they don't offer any units with drawers, (which I love about the Dewalt TSTAK system). I have not used the Packout System myself but I think it's worth a look for sure.

Check out my blog post Tool Review where I go into more detail about the Dewalt TSTAK system.
The Bosch StarlockPlus Oscillating Multi-tool Is honestly one of the best purchases I've made in the last couple years. I had seen them being used by carpenters and woodworker alike on Instagram but it was one of those tools that you just don't realize how valuable it is until you own one. This is now my go to tool for so many different jobs, from construction to renovation to cabinet making. It's ability to make precise, clean cuts safely in tight spaces where no other tool can access is what makes it so valuable.

The model I bought was the Corded Bosch. Bosch also makes a cordless version which I think would be worth considering, especially if you are already on the Bosch cordless platform of tools (meaning you don't have to buy another battery and a charger).

Beeswax has many uses in the shop and as a safe and natural finish for wood. If you're lucky you can get some for free from a friend or neighbor who keeps bees. If that's not an option, you can buy it readily on line from many sources. For more information, see how to use this to refinish your cutting board in my instructional blog post.
Raw Linseed Oil is another great product to use as a food safe, child safe, natural wood finish. Raw linseed Oil is different from Boiled Linseed Oil. Boiled Linseed Oil is not boiled at all, rather it contains metallic additives to speed up drying. DO NOT use Boiled Linseed Oil on wood in contact with food. Raw Linseed Oil is readily available online or at your local finishing store or most hardware stores.
See how to use Raw Linseed Oil to make your own natural, food safe wood finish in my instructional blog post on refinishing your cutting board.
